Need help with Customer type (Company or Individual) and setting it in code
Hi all, I'm new to Netsuite and Javascript, but I have a general knowledge of programming.
Anyway, I am monkeying around with some scripts for a various forms. One thing I'd like to be able to do is have the Customer Type default to "Company" if a certain template is selected. I currently have this code:
if ( nlapiGetFieldValue('customform') == 5) nlapiSetFieldValue('isperson', 'F')running in the Before Load Function in a record script. It works in that the Type field defaults to Company. The problem is the corresponding fields on the form don't change...That is, the individual name field is visible and starred as a mandatory field. What do I need to do to make it invisible and have Company the mandatory field?
