Append suffix to Auto Generated Numbers
Prior to moving to Netsuite, we had 2 different departments work with an entirely distinct set of invoice numbers. After moving to Netsuite and consolidating the invoicing, customers and/or reps are finding it difficult and confusing to keep the two together.
We would like to separate the invoices/cash sales by having a different suffix assigned to that department.
For example, currently the suffix for all Cash Sales is CS and for all Invoices is IN.
We would like to add an EQ for the eqiupment dept invoices to the suffix as well.
There was a help topic (escapes me now where it is) that discusses modifying auto-generated numbers via SuiteScript and indicates that doing so is
