How to get the sales order item name
I am trying to use the script to retrieve the name of a sales item from a sales order record. Within the sales record I was able to first get the item id. And I was able to retrieve the name by first loading the item record using
nlapiLoadRecord('inventoryitem',item_id).getFieldValue('itemid');
However I have a problem because the item can either be of 'inventoryitem' record type or of 'kititem' record type. And I do not know in advance what the record type is that I am looking at. And hence I would get a "SSS_RECORD_TYPE_MISMATCH" error message if I applied the wrong record type in my retrieval.
