afterSubmit event on "Transfer Order"
Hello everyone.
For the past two days, I've been trying to figure out WHY Transfer Order record is the ONLY one that doesn't return nlapiRecordId() on create.
I created user event script against Transfer Order and fired afterSubmit function to grab internal id of the newly created record.
problem is, it returns null. It's ONLY on create. I'm wondering if there is a delay between the database commit and afterSubmit function firing specifically for this record type.
i've tried nlapiGetRecordId() and also stepped through to see what values are available in debugger mode by looking at nlapiGetNewRecord().
Internal ID as well as tranid are both empty. Well... tranid says "to be generated". It's as if afterSubmit function fires before it goes to database.
