Need to update field with a locked record
Hello,
I need suggestions for implementing the scenario where we lock purchase orders for all employees after creation so that no one can change it, but we provide a button (userevent beforeload) in view mode, to forward the PO to X employee (field on PO record).
Now since the PO is locked but the field needs to be update too (in view mode or behind the scenes)
Any suggestions on how should we go about accomplishing this. We need to keep the PO locked, but also update the field on click of the button, seems like a catch 22 situation.
I am sure there is a better way to align this up. Need suggestions.
