BFO PDF - Rotating Text

I have a Suitelet that is generating a PDF printout in NetSuite, and I want to rotate one of the elements in the PDF 90 degrees.  I found the CSS needed (http://www.w3schools.com/css/tryit.asp?filename=trycss3_transform1) to do that in a regular web page, but nlapiXMLToPDF() throws an error when I try to use these attributes in NetSuite.  Does anybody know how to rotate an element in a BFO PDF in NetSuite?
