Urgent Critical issue with nlapiRequestURL() returning connection closed error

HI,

We have a critical issue with the nlapiRequestURL() function.

Something that has proven to work very reliably under testing, is now getting ready to be demonstrated to a wider audience.

However as it would always seem to happen, we are all of a sudden getting

SSS_CONNECTION_CLOSED Connection Closed [Ljava.lang.String;@2be440f1

no idea how this is all of a sudden starting to happen, Ive tried making the script that is being used to ping another domain which is located on the same machine, however nothing is appearing to work.

Any ideas on how I can resolve this issue or is there an alternative function I can use to get around this issue
