Passing a value from aUser Event script to nlapiScheduleScript
I have a custom record that when written, triggers a user event script to execute. I'd then like for the user event script to pass the internal ID of the custom record to nlapiScheduleScript, so that it can be used in the schedule script is this possible? Ideally, something like the following
USER EVENT SCRIPT
function userEvent() { var recID = nlapiGetRecordId(); // RUN OTHER LOGIC // WHEN FINISHED, SCHEDULE A SCRIPT AND PASS THE RECORD ID TO IT. nlapiScheduleScript('123', 'deployID', recID); }
SCHEDULED SCRIPT
function scheduledScript(type, recID) { // GET DATA FROM THE CUSTOM RECORD var recData = nlapiLookupField('customrecord_my_cust_rec', recID, 'custrecord_record_data'); // MARK THE CUSTOM RECORD AS PROCESSED nlapiSubmitField('customrecord', recID, 'custrecord_processed', 'T'); }
