Copy Sales Order Does NOT Copy Custom Records
How can we copy custom records when we copy a Sales Order?
We have three (3) custom records associated with each Sales Order. These custom records, which we call Project Design, are detailed specs for creating the items on the Sales Order.
When we copy the Sales Order, it does NOT copy the custom records as expected. Rather, it copies the link to the custom records in the original Sales Order. So we do NOT have a copy of the custom records so that we can update for the new copied Sales Order. Rather it is a link to the exact same custom record as referenced by the OLD Sales Order.
