Custom Records

I have a need to creat custom records for Investors and track progress.  Is there a way that I can create a custom record and add the standard subtabs  General, Info, Address Financial, than have all the same abilities such as events, contacts, etc.  without having to create each one seperately?

Can I just pick the system sub tab for general, info etc. then add the sub tabs under each from the ones already in Netsuite?
