Custom Records and Customer 'inheritance'

Hello

I have a custom record - Unit - which is related to customers and can be viewed / restrictred etc in the customer centre. It is also listed in the transactions report metric so I am hoping I will be able to report on it.

I also have a second custom record - Unit Run - which has Unit as a parent.

I would like Unit Run to display in the customer centre using the related units customer assignment.

I tried adding a formula to the Unit Run which would reference the units Customer but I cant specify a formula and have the type List/Record.
