Custom record use on transaction lines
Hi,
I am attempting to create a simple item entry for our sales teams using custom records to filter certain item field using custom records.
I am creating 2 custom records 'tariff' and 'connection type'. The first custom record (tariff) has a list record field on it which links to item (the standard list) so when a tariff record is created it can be linked to an item. I create a custcol field on the transaction and specify this as a list of tariffs, the source list to be 'Item' and the Source Filter By to be 'Related Item' (which is the field on my tariff record which links it to an item). This works really well and the list of appropriate tariffs are displayed
