Where is the "Delete" button for child record lists

I have a list (many actually) of child records on a parent record.  I can create (and if I check the "List is Ordered" option, move them up and down) but I can't delete them.

Here is an example:

Anyone found a configuration of options/permissions/magic that will make a delete button appear?
