Show custom records with indents by parent
I have created a custom record type called "Geographic Region" for the purpose of letting us classify our customers into customer regions. The only fields on this type are "Name" and "Parent" which is a record of type "Geographic Region". The reason for this is we want them to nest, having many smaller regions within bigger ones. An example:
Western US
..California
....Los Angeles Metro
......West Los Angeles
Each one of those is a record, with the parent set to the one above it and Western US with no parent.
This works okay, but my question is this: is there a way to display the items using an indentation of some sort to indicate the hierarchy?
