I created a Custom Record Type, and now I can't created a new Saved Search with a search type of the

"Permission Violation: You need a higher permission for custom record type CustomRecordData to access this page. Please contact your account administrator."

My administrator barely understands NetSuite and the roles.  I'm very new to NetSuite.  What do I need to tell my administrator to do to allow me to create Saved Searches for any future Custom Record Type I create in the future?  Do I seriously need to notify my administrator to adjust my role for each new Custom Record Type I create?  Thank you
