Pass Case Number through URL for Onlin Form

Hi All,

    Looking for some help. The short of it is, I'm building an after-email survey that NetSuite will send to the customer after their case is closed. I need to tie this record back to the case. Now, when working within custom records, I can usually just add &custrecordxxxx=record ID (usually I would do this with a merge tag in a template), however, I am unable to pass a case number. to the form using this method in the URL. Any ideas why I wouldn't be able to pass the case number within the URL? The survey it self is
