Custom Column Field / Calculation

Ok, so I'm very new to this and excuse me if this is a retarded question.

I have a unit price, and a case qty. I made a formula  {custcolpcs_per_case}*{rate} to calculate the case qty.

This works, and the value is there in my sales order, but it is not printing on the SO or Invoice.

Is there something I did wrong, or is this not a supported feature.
