Field Level Security - Is it Possible??
We have a Custom Entity Field that is applied to the Customer Record (Type = Checkbox)
We create a Custom Customer Form and only allow this Custom Attribute to appear within this form. We then restrict this Custom Customer Form to one Custom Role.
Now – let’s say there are lots of other roles that are not able to access this Customer Form (That contains the Custom Entity Field), but they do have visibility to customer information. Let’s also say that these other roles have the Report Customization permission. When this scenario takes place, any Role that has Customer and Report Customization permissions is able to customize a report or a Saved Search and add this Custom Entity Field as a Result or Filter by it.
