Item-level postage on transactions
How would you handle this on a transaction entry form?
We sell subscriptions to companies, and our implementation is heavily based on the parent-child data model for company-type (CTC) and individual-type (ITC) customers. Each order is initiated from the CTC. Each line item may be a different product for a different child ITC of the CTC. Each ITC may be at different ship-to locations around the country or world. Via web services, we integrate with our fulfillment vendor, which maintains the data-of-record for fulfillment and accounting.
Supplementary postage/shipping is required for delivery outside the US of 2 specific products: $50 to Canada and $150 to other countries.
