E-mail Templete used by new Task email

When we create a new Task under a project/job there is a send email checkbox on the task form that sends email to the person whom the task has been assigned. Does anyone know which templete does it use?
I want to customize that email format, i donot know the email templete it uses neither does the task form has a customize button where i can put up the custom code to send email on save.
Can anyone provide insights into how i can customize the email?
