Couple of sourcing questions

1)  I've added a custom field to a Sales Order (List/Record:Contact) and I want to source this list from the customer's contacts.  I've been playing around with this for 15 minutes and can't seem to find the right combination.

Is this even possible?  I hope so, seems like a common thing people would want to do.

Actually I won't ask the second question, need to do more research first.

Thanks for any help on the sourcing issue.
