Creating a New Job Status

Can anyone help out here?  I need to add a few new types of Job Status.  I found where to go:

You can create new job statuses at Setup  > Other Setup  >   Employee Lists > New > Job Status

but can't find Employee Lists > New   any where!!  I have Employee Related Lists and its not under that.  I also checked to see if there is some permission I needed to add to my role and can't see one I'm missing that could be related......
