Sales summary values sourced to Customer field

Folks,

I'd like to have a field at the account level that will immediately show me last year's sales, as calculated by the Sales by Customer Summary report.

I see this value in the dashboard, but that field doesn't seem to be accessible for use as a search/report/mass update filter criteria.

Is this possible?
