Sales Order Sourcing Manager from Sales Rep

Need to source the Supervisor from the Sales Rep field into a custom field on the Sales Order.  I have a few other custom fields on the Sales Order that source from the Customer record and they work just fine.

The field is named Sales Manager,
id = custbody_install_salesmgr
Type = Free form text
Display type = inline text
Store Value = True
Source List = Sales Rep
Source From = Supervisor

Now, the Sales Manager field does not fill in on page load, only when the Sales Rep field is Changed.  Cant force the user to change sales rep, (nobody would anyway) as it is pulled from the opportunity
