Sourcing & Filtering Issues

No doubt I'm plagued by poor design, but...

Custom record type #1 called "Alpha" has 3 custom fields:
1. Asset Name: Type=Free-Form Text
2. Place: Type=List/Record; List/Record=custom place list
3. Info: Type=Free-Form Text

Customer record type #2 is "Beta" with 2 custom fields:
1. Place: Type=List/Record; List/Record=custom place list
2. Asset Name: Type=List/Record; List/Record=Alpha; Filter Using=Place equal Place

So far so good. Here comes the problem that I can't figure out using Sourcing & Filtering.

3. I need a custom field in Beta that allows the user to select from the possible instances of Alpha.Info where:
