Custom Formula Totaling Line Items

I'm trying to create a custom body field on the main part of the transaction form that totals the amount in a custom column field. Example - Cash sale has 2 items, and Receipt Amount field (custom column field) has $10 and $15. I just want the custom body field Receipt Amount Total to show $25.

I figured this would be easy with a formula field, but I can't seem to get it. Any help is appreciated.
