Bar code on picking list

I've been trying to place a bar code on the picking list, but the one that keeps coming up is showing a bar code for "Return Authorization #12345", which makes it unreadable, instead of just showing a readable "12345". 

Does anyone know how to make this happen?  The picking list is coming from the SO, which displays a readable bar code.
