Identifying required fields if custom theme is used...
There is no way, that I have found that a required field can be identified other than having the field value have a different color.
In most application, an asterisk (*) or description box can be put on a form to help users identify which fields are required.
This especially becomes a problem when you start changing themes. You can set the required field color to be different. However from the user perspective, there is no way to identify which are required unless by trial and error.
Please vote for enhancement 176021 - When filling out new customer records or transactions, there’s no indication on the form what are the mandatory fields and what are the colored fields are for.
