Saved Search Formulas

Can anyone tell me why the following works in saved search formula field:

{custbody_margin_total}-{Amount}
{custbody_margin_total}+{Amount}
{custbody_margin_total}*{Amount}

But the following doesn't?

{custbody_margin_total}/{Amount}
