Sharing searches in vendor center

I am wracking my brain here trying to get some saved searches to show in vendor center.  The searches are sell through reports designed to show the total invoiced sales for the month.  Each search is public.  I have created a web site tab and placed each search on the tab.  Each search is also public.

I can see the searches in the vendor center.  However, when they execute no results are returned.  Strangely, however, I do get results when I view the same tab in Web Site Preview (ie totally public) and Administrator role.  For a brief moment, I had a version of the report showing in vendor center but cannot for the life of me figure out how or why.
