Season’s greetings to you and yours! As we head into the holidays (December 24 – January 4), we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible strength and collaboration within our community. Even during the break, you can continue to benefit from connecting with peers, searching related threads, posting your questions, and marking helpful replies as “Accepted” in the Support Community.
Please note our dedicated team will be on reduced coverage during this time, and regular responsiveness will resume on January 5. Wishing you a joyful and restful holiday season!

How 'Public' are public saved searches?
Hello,
Currently, we only have employees access Netsuite, no vendors, no customers. However, I'm concerned about custom searches that I save and publish with the 'public' checkbox. I only intend for employees to see these searches, but if at a later date I allow a vendor or a customer access, will they also be able to pull up these searches?
The reason I ask is that in reading the latest Netsuite newsletter published on their website they talk about creating a saved search to stay on top of customer issues. (see http://www.netsuite.com/portal/newsletter/newsletter-0107.html#07 )
There are no warnings in the article about the public box and there are no warnings in Netsuite about the use of that parameter. So I hope I'm just being parnoid and that it will take more work to truly allow a customer or vendor to see the public results.
