Can I suppress search links on grouped results?

Is there any way to suppress search links automatically created in a grouped field's summary output? 

The formula field's {fieldname} equivalent seems to work, but will require re-defining all search result columns as formula fields.  Additionally if I use more than one formula field of the same type (text for example) there doesn't appear to be any way to define which of the multiple formula text fields to sort with...
