Easy way to Edit a large group ?

I have a large static group of contacts (approx 1000) created via a search. The salesmen want to take out about half - they SUBJECTIVELY choose who should get dropped. How can I easily get rid of these contacts (about 350)?

Netsuite only display 25 at a time and refreshes back to the first 25, so if on on the 500th contact snd remove him, back I go again to the first 25!

I can create a manual list of the 350 and then do a search saying I want thos in the first group and not the 2nd, but it's labourious... and there is a netsuite bug - you cant create more than approx 120 contcats in a group because netsuitye wont save the group if you try, so i would need to create several smaller groups.
