Calculate How Long Calls Are Overdue

Hi All

This is a simple one for you coders, but I'm not a coder!

I'm trying to calculate how many days a phone call is overdue in a saved phone call search.

I've tried all kinds of things including
({startdate}-{today})

and some REPLACE and TO_CHAR functions but dismally failed!

I know that this is simple but how do I do it please?
