Custom SubList on a custom SubTab - possible?

I have a sublist that currently is displayed on my "Custom" tab on a Customer record.  THe tab is called "Claims" (I'm not sure where that name is coming from, I can't figure it our right now).  Anyway, I created a new SubTab (Setup > SubTabs) called "Claims" and edit my SubList to use this new custom tab.

I've logged out, cleared my cache, etc and no matter what the sublist is displayed on Custom > Claims (the original location).  Because I've encountered problems like this and later been told "Oh, you can't mix "x" with "y" like that..." I thought I would check here to see if this "should" be possible?
