Filtering Line ID in a Search

I am running a search in order to update custom fields on line items on invoices. I have in the results the internal ID and the line ID. Some of the line IDs refer to history or other lines that I am not interested in updating.

Can you tell me how to filter out any line id that does not actually refer to a "visible" line item on the invoice?
