Filtered dropdown filters in search
Hi all!
Is there a way to limit the number of records in a footer filter in a saved search based on previously selected filters?
For instance: I have a custom record type called "Event schedule" and a child record type called "Events". On each sales transaction one record from "Event schedule" and one record from "Events" are recorded in custom column fields. The custom column Event is filtered based on Event Schedule selected.
In a transaction search I have both Event schedule and Events as Available filters that show in the footer.
Now, if I select Event schedule A in the first dropdown, the result set is limited to transactions with Event schedule A on them. But the dropdown filter for Events still shows all entered Events regardless of Event schedule. Those are thousands and have the same names across schedules, making it impossible to select the correct one.
