Saved Search for change in lead status

Lets say I want to figure out the number of days since my prospect changed from "verbal to quoted" in a saved search.

I basically look up the date in the system notes and subtract today from that date.

How do I do that? I know that the field=leadstatus, that the type=change.

I was writing something along the lines of LAST_DAY({systemnotes.date})
but I need to say WHERE field=leadstatus and now subtract today - the latest date.

Ideas?
