Test a Scheduled Search outside of "schedule"?

I have a saved search that I want to email the Recipients from Results once a week - which works great...  But I want to play with the formatting of the search results that the email sends...
Is there a way to FORCE one of these "scheduled searches" to run and do the work - or do I have to wait for the search to run every morning on the daily scheduler and then make a change and then wait another day to see if ti's good?
Selecting the schedule option "Single Event" won't send the email to the Recipients from Results.
