Create a Search to Show 'From' and 'To' location on Inventory Transfer in Separate Co
I came across an "Answer" in Netsuite's SuiteAnswers that boggles the mind a bit, although it seems to work.
The topic "Create a Search to Show 'From' and 'To' location on Inventory Transfer in Separate Columns" (Answer ID 14355) tells you how to search for From and To locations on an inventory transfer. We have the need to update item locations (preferred location) based on these transfers and were having difficulty finding a good way to locate the "to" location of a transfer.
The search seems to work but is limiting. I want to compare that value (the To location, or Minimum) with the preferred location on the item record. I am trying to write some nifty CASE statement that would handle this, but it would be so much simpler if we could use the regular field on the transfer that shows on the record when you pull up an individual transation:
