Thank you to everyone for your passion, collaboration, and support. Here’s to building an even stronger community together in the year ahead!
Season’s greetings to you and yours! As we head into the holidays (December 24 – January 4), we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible strength and collaboration within our community. Even during the break, you can continue to benefit from connecting with peers, searching related threads, posting your questions, and marking helpful replies as “Accepted” in the Support Community.
Please note our dedicated team will be on reduced coverage during this time, and regular responsiveness will resume on January 5. Wishing you a joyful and restful holiday season!

Default Filter to use "Contains" but not "Start With" in Custom View/Saved Searc
We wish to have a Custom View (or Saved Search) that can show a listing for item description "contains" a specific word, but...
Netsuite can work only if the search for word "Start With"... why is that so??
For example, we have items :
Item Name : 920028
Item Description : Machine A100 Power 2AMP Engine
Item Name : 920033
Item Description : Machine G102 Power 2AMP Engine
We need a listing of item with decription ="2AMP" and we are very frequently use this search.
Yes, understand that we can set the "Criteria" and set the "Available Filter" to show filter in footer.
HOWEVER,
(1) we do not wish to always do the customize the "Criteria", and define "Contain" for it... to troublesome, this kind search we do it very frequently.
