Need a saved search to display GL impact to specific accounts

edited Jan 3, 2020 1:11AM in Search / Reporting 1 comment

Greetings,

I am somewhat new to Netsuite and I am a novice at creating saved searches.  I am trying to close out 2011 and I have a devil of a problem that I need to fix.  Specifically, when we finished our audit, our Inventory Asset account balance was $1,281,254.05.  However, some changes have been made and the account as of the end of the audit period (12/31/11) has been changed to $1,251,964.10.  Obviously this is not correct and the account needs to be at $1,281,254.05.

What I need is a search that will show me the following:  A list of transactions of any type which were a) entered between 1/1/12 and today's date, b) which posted in 2011 AND, c) which impacted the Inventory Asset account.  I tried doing this through the Audit Trail feature but it does not work (I get zero results when using this method even though we have obviously had transaction during that time period which impacted the Inventory Asset account).  I submitted a trouble ticket but Support advises that this is working (or, in this case, NOT working) as intended,

Howdy, Stranger!
