script: write column value of saved search to item record

Loving the automation possible with scheduled scripts, but having trouble:

- I have a custom saved search: ID 1177
- It sums all sales made over the previous 30 days to the parent record: custom column label 30daysales (albeit it is displayed as 'Sum of 30daysales' in the UI)
- I want to submit that sum-value to a custom field in the parent record: custitem30daysales

I cannot find any documentation on how to do this, but put together NS guidance and User Group posts to make this script:

// call the search
var swritebestseller = nlapiSearchRecord('inventoryitem', 'customsearch1177');

// Set up a function
function s30daybestseller () {

Howdy, Stranger!
