Saves Search Alert to Group anomaly/question/quirk
I have a saved search that sends an email when a case is created/updated to a group in the system. It will only send to the group (in the if I dis-associate the owner's email (mine) from the group.
Now, this works all hunky dory for the alerts to our groups for the cases we want emails on. But, now I can't get notifications to these groups when a case is escalated to them. The pop up tells that the escalatee has no email associated with it so no notifications will be sent.
Now, I can build another search for the escalation alerts, but I would like to know why this is. Has anyone else seem this behavior? Am I doing it wrong?
