Filtering transaction Sublist view to transactions which include certain items

I need to be able to filter customer/vendor transaction sublist view to only show transactions which include items defined by either a custom item field (Product Line) or "special work order item" = true

We have a custom manufacturing department and I need to be able to filter results view of transactions which include items applicable to them.

I tried using Criteria filter of Item : Product Line (Custom) = X, but this seems to display results of transactions with only 1 line

any ideas?
