saved search alerts is not working when do update using import

Hi,

I created a saved search that contains certain items with an alert to notify us when the price changed for these items.
recently, we did an import for pricing and didn't receive a notification for these items.

after testing, the notification is not working when we update items using import. Is there any idea for fixing this via saved search alert or I have to implement this using a script?
