Capture first grab event for case

I am trying to build a search that captures the first time a case is grabbed. I am hoping there is a neat way to do it, like an undocumented formula hack or something. Like maybe the grab button does something wonderfully trackable.


I have a feeling, however, that all it does is open the case in edit mode and assign it to the user.

Anyone have a formula to get the first time a case was assigned to an employee and not a group?
