Customising Global Search

When typing in the Global Search, is there any way to exclude certain information from the suggestion popup.

For example when searching for a customer, the popup suggests "customer ID" + "customer name".

Is it possible to only show the customer ID?

I can't seem to find anything in Set Preferences.
