Main Line Filter not working on Journal Search

I am trying to mimic the native Approve Journal Entries screen, but prevent the creator of a JE from approving it as well. The only issue I am having is with the search to generate the list of Journal Entries. Normally, i would use the Main Line filter to accomplish this, but the Main Line filter does not appear to work correctly on a Journal Entry search, and I get a result for every Journal line item.

Currently, my search filters are:
[LIST]
[*]status is "Journal:Pending Approval"
[*]memorized is No
[*]mainline is Yes
[*]createdby is not - Mine -
[/LIST]
