Looking for a Customer Saved Search

Can't seem to nail this one down -
I want to list ALL customers.  Then next to each customer I want to then include any sales dollars for a particular period of time.
I don't want the search to be limited only those customers who ordered - instead all customers then return any corresponding sales totals.
Anyone out there give me some guidance on this?
